The Job of Teachers

The formative years of people are foundational for their intellectual becoming. What they learn primarily stays with them throughout their lives and judges for them all other ideas and conditions which come later to them. They may turn opportunistic while maturing but the formative learnings inform their morality even if they may not care for that. When they speak, it comes from their basic learnings and what they do carries the weight of living conditions. The dichotomy is due to the weakness of epistemology but that is not a concern of this post. It is about the job of teachers who play a crucial role in the becoming of beings. They must cultivate the ability and strength to see through the ideas and ideologies that pervade the times and to see that the young people they work with can find their path by applying their genius.
