Civilizationalism

Nationalism has been under greater focus after the decline of neoliberalism in the world. After preventing the disappearing barriers and even borders, the nations are now busy with homeland economics and geopolitics.

What is not talked about generally is Civilizanalism. The reality is that it is a more powerful sentiment than nationalism shaping global state and affairs. After Samuel Phillips Huntington's Clash of Civilizations warned about the nature of impending conflicts, concerned people around the globe rose in denial, but none did anything to prevent such a prospect. Unseen and unrealised, civilizations are racing in the direction as foreseen.

Agencies for Peace

International conflicts affect not only the people of the belligerent countries but the whole world. International agencies have not been impartial or effective so far in preventing or resolving such conflicts. The need for fair and effective international agencies for conflict resolution is critical now as the delay would cause the eruptions of more serious crises. If the next upgrade of international order takes place after greater tragedies, it would itself be a worse tragedy than whatever is tormenting us or going to trouble us human beings.

दर्शन और प्रदर्शन

दर्शन को मात्र ज्ञान की विशिष्ट विधा मानना यथार्थ नहीं है। दर्शन हर व्यक्ति के जीवन का अविभाज्य आयाम है। मानव बिना जीवन दर्शन के नहीं हो सकता है। मानवीयता की आवश्यकता दर्शन को लेकर जाग्रत चेतना है।

इस संदर्भ में यह रेखांकित करने का प्रयास किया गया है कि सामान्य जन में प्रदर्शन के और उसमें निहित दर्शन को दृष्टिगत करने की क्षमता हो। प्रदर्शन के माध्यम से अनेक अमंगलकर विचार समाज के अभिकरण के चालक मूल्यों में प्रविष्ट करा दिए जाते हैं।

खरी बौद्धिकता

निष्कंटक उद्योग और उद्यम की धरा पर ही ज्ञान-विज्ञान, साहित्य, संस्कृत, और कला फलती-फूलती है। विचारधारा या विचार जो वैयक्तिक उद्यम का विरोधी है, उसे ओछा दिखाता है, वह आत्मघात का साहित्य है। 

भारतीय परंपरा द्वेष रहित सुख-समृद्धि की आकांक्षा और जीवन का पोषक रही है। पाश्चात्य जगत में आधुनिकता भयावह रक्तपात के द्वारा आयी है। भारत में सापेक्षिक आधुनिकता का सहज चलन इसकी तार्किकता की परंपरा की पुष्टि करता है।

बहुतायत में बौद्धिक फुनगी का महिमामंडन करते है। जड़, तना, शाखाओं सहित वृक्ष के वृहत्तर यथार्थ की अवहेलना और अवमानना उनकी प्रकृति में है। यही आधिपत्य की दीर्घावधि जनित दासता की प्रवृत्ति है जो उन्हें सत्य को देखने से डराती रही है।

पहचान दूसरा बड़ा सवाल हमेशा से रहा है
सवाल यह भी है कि पहचान की पहचान क्या है
पहचान क्यों, किनके लिए, और किनसे
यह सवाल शायद ही उठा हो कभी

Studying Abroad

Many scholars go abroad to research India and return home on field trips. This may have some uses, but what may be more useful for India is that Indians go abroad to study those countries. It is good that we make others know us, but more important is we know them.

सहारा बेसहारा

जो बेकाम है, उसकी पीड़ा बड़ी है
जो काम पर है, वह भी पीड़ित है
पानी है तो किनारा नहीं है
किनारा है तो पानी नहीं है
सहारा के लिए बनना सहारा है
यही सीखने-सीखाने की जरूरत है
