Industrialists

Industries form the backbone of a nation. Mind it, it is not only bone but also bonemarrow. Our industrialists are real heroes. They could outwit the colonial regime to flourish and survive the socialist spell. And, in this lofty endeavour, they helped the rise of nationalism and nation-building.
The capitalism they brought led democracy to grow and deepen its roots. In other colonies, where capitalism could not take root, democracy failed to emerge or survive.
