Means or End

Social relations, creative engagements, and productive activities are not means to some end but end by themselves. Life is but meaning and purpose. At the same time, communities owe this responsibility. The unengaged often bring hell to others. Schools must train and motivate undergraduates for them, and municipalities must care for and facilitate them.
